The Islands
Maps show India’s boundaries as officially depicted by the Government of India. Rivers, ranges and regions are drawn from Natural Earth’s public-domain data and are approximate.
Two major groups: about 572 islands and islets in the Bay of Bengal (Andaman and Nicobar), and the coral islands of Lakshadweep and Minicoy in the Arabian Sea.
